Cuando bajamos del avión,  Javier nos esperaba en el estacionamiento del aeropuerto. Tenía en sus manos 2 botellas de cerveza helada. “Bienvenido a Santa Marta” me dijo. Esa es mi primera imagen de Colombia y el primer episodio de una semana que voy a recordar siempre.

Hace unos meses atrás , Mileris y Javier se casaron en una ceremonia civil en Chile. Ellos son originalmente de Colombia, pero a estas alturas su nacionalidad es de “chilombianos”. Celebraron con sus cercanos en Santa Martina en un matrimonio lleno de ritmos caribeños. Yo tuve la suerte de sacar esas fotos y de hacer las de la sesión de novios  . Quedaron tan contentos que finalmente me contrataron para hacer las fotos de su matrimonio en Santa Marta, Colombia. Y allá llegué, fascinado por uno de los países más bellos y con la gente más cariñosa que me ha tocado. De verdad me sentí en familia estando allá.

El día previo al matrimonio salimos a hacer una pequeña sesión de fotos. Espero que les gusten.

When we got off the plane, Javier was waiting at the airport parking lot . Was holding 2 bottles of cold beer. ” Welcome to Santa Marta “, he said. That’s my first image of Colombia and the first episode a week I’ll always remember .

A few months ago , Mileris and Javier were married in a civil ceremony at Chile. They are originally from Colombia , but at this stage his nationality is ” chilombianos ” . They celebrated with their close ones at Santa Martina venue on a wedding full of caribbean rhythms . I was fortunate enough to take those photos and doing their engagemente session . They were so happy they finally hired me to take pictures of their wedding in Santa Marta, Colombia . And I got there , fascinated by one of the most beautiful countries and the most caring people that I have had ever met . I really felt like family being there.
